The E-Learning Council had its charter meeting. We were excited that over twenty people attended. The group decided that there was a strong need to form the E-learning council in Central Texas. Joachim Strenk was chartered with organizing a Executive Council Working Group meeting to:
- Define the Mission Statement
- Define Organizational Goals
- Define Group Structure
Initial volunteers for the Executive Council include:

- Martha Jacobson, TxDOT
- Carolyn Gross, TDCJ
- Sammy Henson, TxDPS
- Joy Hall Bryant, DIR
