David Anderson, Articulate

David Anderson is a Community Manager at Articulate Global for E-Learning design and development.  David supports Articulate’s learning communities by helping rapid designers use PowerPoint to design and build creative rapid E-Learning courses.

David’s E-Learning portfolio includes transitioning teams from CD-ROM based course models to Flash/WBT, integrating rapid E-Learning strategies and leading corporate virtual world initiatives in Second Life.

David has over 12 years designing and developing corporate E-Learning and held leadership roles at Bank of America, Countrywide and Universal Technical Institute.

Tim Burress, Co-Founder & President, Getcontrol.net

John Gillis, First Order Consulting

John Gillis, Jr. provides clients with consulting and implementation expertise in Leadership, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, Performance Management, Succession Planning, and Career Development. With a focus on change management and strategic business value, Mr. Gillis builds collaborative business relationships with his client and internal consulting team to successfully deliver implementations impacting human capital. Mr. Gillis was the Performance Consultant Practice Leader at Element K, a Human Performance Management Consultant for Accenture, a Certified Management Consultant for IBM’s Strategic Change and Business Transformation solution groups, a Performance Consultant for Convergys, and a Partner with First Order Consulting. He is based out of Austin, Texas. Mr. Gillis is also the founder and president of CampLIFE!, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, with a mission to provide for the families of deceased soldiers deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Hiram Kuykendall, CTO, MicroAssist, Inc.

Hiram Kuykendall is a technical leader with over fifteen years of solid real world experience in application, infrastructure design, and E-Learning development. His specialties include software development management, database administration and system engineering. Mr. Kuykendall manages the development teams for numerous E-Learning sites both for the State of Texas and the private sector. Mr. Kuykendall has extensive experience dealing with accessibility issues from managerial and practical levels. Prior to joining MicroAssist in 1995, he accumulated extensive experience working for various Texas state agencies as well as the private sector. Mr. Kuykendall received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Microsoft Certified Professional.

Julia Preston, Enspire Learning

Julia Preston brings an extensive technology and education background to her project management work. After earning a BS in civil engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she went on to write and edit items for educational measurement tests.  Julia worked as a system administrator, developer, and project and client relations manager for a burgeoning web-based financial company for higher education, maintaining client relationships with Harvard, Oklahoma State University, and Brigham Young University. As an Enspire Producer, she has managed marketing trailers, courses, and simulations for such clients as Pitney Bowes, Bank of America, Sodexo, Canon, and Sara Lee.

Dr. Raj Ramachandran, Global Enablement Lead for Accenture’s Learning and Collaboration Management Consulting Practice

Dr. Raj Ramachandran is the Global Enablement Lead for Accenture’s Learning & Collaboration Management Consulting Practice.  Considered a thought-leader in corporate learning and talent management, Dr. Ramachandran provides his clients with deep specialized expertise in learning strategy, technology and operations leveraging Accenture’s India-based Global Talent and Innovation Network (GTIN).

Previously, Dr. Ramachandran has spent over a decade working with TPI, IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Talent Management and Learning Consultant for Fortune 200 organizations.

 Dr. Ramachandran is an alumnus of the Wharton School of Business and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, earning both his Doctorate and Masters in Education.  Dr. Ramachandran also holds a B.S. from The Ohio State University.

Scott Rehling, Partner, Lava Studios

Scott, the co-founder of Lava Studios, is a communications professional specializing in digital media development and production and Internet based rich media distribution.  With audio and video development and production at its core, Lava Studios develops, produces and distributes award winning rich media content for clients such as Whole Foods Markets, University of Texas, State of Texas, Amazon.com and Dell Computer.

Prior to Lava Studios, Scott founded Alternate Audio in the early 1990’s which was the first entirely digital recording studio in Austin, TX and one of the early pioneers in the field of digital media production.

Scott has also spent several years consulting high tech companies on development and growth of their channel sales and marketing strategies.  His experience in this arena ranges from Apple Computer and CompuAdd Computer to Exodus Communications and Motion Computing.  This experience from the other side of the table as a consumer of rich media tools for sales and marketing gives Scott a unique perspective on rich media development and production for sales and marketing organizations.
